Every time I’m taking a walk on the pristine walking trail at the Fifty-Six Community Park, I can’t believe there aren’t more people enjoying this beautiful space! Here’s why I think that should change!

Located an easy 20 minute drive from Mountain View at 100 Walnut Dr. Fifty-Six, Arkansas 72533, this sprawling 5 acre park has something for everyone!

Make sure to stop by the Fifty-Six Country Store for your picnic sandwiches, pizza, burgers and drinks at 6661 AR-14, Fifty-Six, AR 72533 before you head to the park!

Although the tornado in March 2025 did some damage to the trees in and around the park, by some miracle, the heart of the grounds are still perfectly functional! James, who maintains the park meticulously, along with volunteers and workers came together and had all the downed trees and wreckage from the tornado removed expeditiously.

Walks are sublime of course, but family and friend get-togethers are even better! Inside the panoramic Fifty-Six Community Park is a pavilion that can seat around 15 people and also has a barbecue grill. Additionally, there are 2 large stone picnic tables with a bbq grill, right beside a delightful old-fashioned merry-go-round!

All of that, but wait…there’s more! There is a swing-set, a playground, a basketball court, a tennis court and clean restrooms!

Well, what are you waiting for? Bring your kids, your dogs, your great Aunt Susie and your Cousin Joe to check out this hidden local gem!

While you're in town this Spring 2026, our Fifty-Six farmers market and flea market starts March 13 and 14 at the Fifty-Six City Hall at 6564 AR-14, Fifty-Six, AR 72533!

P.S. If you go, see if you can spot the turtle statues!
